Meet Bertie!
Joined Dog Squad: 9/17/22
In late January 2022, Bertie was found in a ditch with some injuries to her head. She was only 4.5 months old at the time, feral, and absolutely terrified of people. For her first few months, Bertie wouldn't interact with anyone, including the dogs, and would hide under a chair when going potty every single time. It was a struggle just to get her inside and outside.
After living in two different foster homes before Dog Squad, Bertie's personality has blossomed and she has come out of her shell. She is still wary of new people, but has already built relationships with Dog Squad members.
On Monday 9/26/22, Bertie will have the mass removed from her head. Please consider donating to help us cover the cost for her surgery!
